# Can I customize the look of my status page?

Yes, within reasonable limits. [Status pages](/features/status-pages) are designed to look professional by default, and customization focuses on branding rather than wholesale redesigns.

## What you can customize

- **Logo**: upload your company logo. It appears in the header of the status page and in subscriber emails.
- **Favicon**: upload a favicon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks.
- **Primary colour**: pick a brand colour that's used across buttons, status indicators, and accents.
- **Dark / light mode palette**: each mode has its own colour settings so you can tune both.
- **Custom domain**: serve the status page from your own subdomain (see [How do I set up a custom domain for my status page?](/docs/faq/how-do-i-set-up-a-custom-domain-for-my-status-page)).
- **Languages**: every status page can be served in one of several supported languages, or multiple at once.
- **Announcements**: pin a message at the top of the page outside of any specific incident.

## What you can't customize

- **Page layout and structure**: the status, incident, and subscription sections are fixed.
- **Custom CSS or JavaScript**: we don't let you inject arbitrary code, to keep status pages fast, accessible, and secure for everyone.
- **Removing the Oh Dear badge**: the small Oh Dear attribution in the footer isn't removable today. See [Can I remove the Oh Dear logo from monthly reports and status pages?](/docs/faq/can-i-remove-the-oh-dear-logo-from-monthly-reports-and-status-pages)
