We're redesigning Oh Dear from the ground up. Your job is to translate exceptional designs into code that's just as exceptional - pixel-perfect layouts, smooth interactions, thoughtful animations. The kind of implementation where the designer says "yes, that's exactly what I meant."

What you'll do

  • • Implement the new Oh Dear app designs using Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS
  • • Build responsive, accessible UI components that work flawlessly across devices
  • • Create interactions and animations that feel polished and intentional
  • • Work within our existing codebase - understanding and respecting what's already there
  • • Write clean, maintainable code that future us will thank you for

What we're looking for

We need someone who bridges the gap between design and code - and refuses to let quality slip through that gap.

  • Deep Laravel & Livewire experience — you've built complex applications, not just tutorials.
  • Pixel-perfect Tailwind skills — you can look at a design and implement it exactly, without "close enough" compromises.
  • A designer's eye in a developer's brain — you notice when spacing is off, when a transition isn't quite right.
  • Experience with data-heavy interfaces — tables, charts, real-time updates - the kind of UI that's easy to make ugly.
  • Strong async communication — we work remotely across time zones. Clear written communication and self-direction are essential.
