Do you offer discounts for nonprofits, students, or open-source projects?

We don't publish a formal discount table, but we do offer discounts case-by-case for teams where it makes sense:

• Registered nonprofits and NGOs
• Open-source projects that are actively maintained and used
• Students and educators monitoring projects tied to their studies

If you fit one of those buckets, reach out with a short description of what you're doing and how you'd use Oh Dear. We tend to respond within a day or two with a specific offer.

A few things we look at:

• For nonprofits, proof of registration (a link to a public registry or your charity number).
• For open-source projects, a link to the public repo and an indication of active maintenance.
• For students, a university email address or some other proof you're studying.

We prefer approving real monitoring use cases over box-checking paperwork, so don't worry if you don't have a formal document ready. A short explanation usually does the job.

Backdating a discount if you already pay

If you signed up before realising you qualified for a discount, let us know with your account details. We can backdate the discount to your next invoice and, in some cases, credit earlier invoices.
