How do I delete my account?
You have two options depending on what you actually want.
Option 1: cancel the subscription, keep the account
If you just want to stop being billed but might come back later, cancel your subscription instead of deleting the account. You keep read-only access to your history, and you can resubscribe anytime.

Option 2: delete the account completely
If you want your account and team data erased from our systems entirely:
- Make sure you're signed in as the owner of the team (not a member).
- Cancel any active subscription first (deletion with an active paid plan isn't allowed).
- Open Team settings > General and scroll to Delete team.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deletion removes:
- The team and all of its monitors
- Check history and incident logs
- Status pages, maintenance windows, and scheduled tasks
- API tokens scoped to the team
It does not remove invoices, which we keep for legal/accounting reasons (Belgian bookkeeping law requires us to retain invoices for several years). Invoices are pseudonymized after the retention period.
GDPR erasure (right to be forgotten)
If you have additional GDPR concerns, our privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement explain exactly what we keep and for how long. You can also email us with a formal erasure request. We'll honour it for everything that isn't required by law to retain.
